The location of Barcadere provides a perfect example of the Brac’s diverse shoreline.  A short path from the house leads to a small cove called the Barcadere, (how the house got it's name) carved out of the molten lava rock by the Caribbean Sea. The cove is about 12x30 feet and 10 feet deep and is protected from the ocean’s waves. A swimming pool ladder provides an easy entrance and exit for snorkeling, diving or just swimming for all ages.

In the evening just sit back on the patio and catch the most wonderful sunsets you will ever see. Each one unique with the various tropical cloud formations that illuminate the sky in reds, pinks and purples until it eventually succumbs to total darkness, illuminating the solar system in a spectacular way.
